What is Organoponix?
ORGANOPONIX: THE WORLDS FIRST NUTRITIONALLY BALANCED ORGANIC FERTILISER RECIRCULATING CULTURE SYSTEM
The Living Soil
The Living soil is the earths most valuable ecosystem, providing ecological services that are absolutely critical to human survival such as:
- Climate regulation
- Mitigation of drought and floods
- Soil erosion prevention and water filtration and most importantly, sequestering carbon for hundreds of millions of years through Mycorrhizal filaments.
Organoponix: Healthy, soil based, productive, recirculating systems
- Promoting the use of Effective & Beneficial Microbes (ie: Beneficial Mycorrhizal Carbon sequestering in a modern, recirculating food production system.
- Healthy soil microbes; Healthy people
THE ORGANOPONIX SYSTEM
- However inorganic fertilisers in hydroponic systems have a lot more nitrate-nitrogen, which influences both plant growth as well as raises the level of nitrate-nitrogen in the leaf cells. In addition, hydroponic systems assume the need for only 16-17 inorganic chemicals in order to produce a nutritionally complete plant. Organic fertilisers generally have a healthier human health benefit with lower nitrate nitrogen in the leaf cells amongst other things.
- However the problem up to now, has been, how do you produce an organic fertilizer recirculating system which has the benefits of ease of use of a hydroponic system while not having the drawbacks of a inorganic chemical based system? We have now unraveled some of this biochemical complexity with the development of a world first Organoponix system.
- We have designed a new modified recirculating agriculture system which is designed to use food waste digestates together with other agricultural waste digestates/ fermentation/ultrafiltration products in a system which is efficient, reproducible, and very importantly, cost effective. The system has been designed to allow for future modifications and the work on the optimization of the biochemistry is continuously being developed in our 5 laboratories in The Biotech Incubation Center in Technology Park Malaysia at Bukit Jalil. The system has been field-tested for more than 3 years in our field test area in Bentong, Pahang.
How are we different from hydroponics Systems?
ORGANOPONIX
- FERTILIZER:ORGANIC LIQUID & SOLID FERTILIZER INPUTS, SOIL BASED
- INPUTS: 100% ORGANIC
- NATURAL DEPENDENCE ON MICROBIAL FLORA TO SYNTHESZIE ORGANIC INPUTS:
- PROVIDES BETTER NUTRITION & CAN BE CLASSED AS ORGANIC PRODUCE
HYDROPONICS
- FERTILIZER: SYNTHETIC CHEMICAL “AB” FERTILIZER: NOT SOIL BASE
- INPUTS: SYNTHETIC CHEMICAL INPUTS
- DOES NOT ENCOURAGE NATURAL MICROBIAL FLORA GROWTH
- CAN NOT BE CLASSED AS ORGANIC PRODUCE
